Mecha-Naruto (メカナルト, Meka-Naruto) is a mechanized replica of Naruto Uzumaki that appears in Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution.

Mecha-Naruto essentially shares the same physical traits as the real Naruto, except for his mechanized robot appearance. Another distinctive feature of Mecha-Naruto is the number "7610" written on his ninja headband (representing Naruto: 7=Na, 6=Ru, 10=To). In the anime, upon absorbing the Nine-Tails' chakra, he manifests four fiery tails, mimicking those of a Jinchūriki. In the game, Mecha-Naruto can transform into a sort of giant mechanical fox that closely resembles the Nine-Tails.

In the video game, the "Normal Mode" persona was proud and somewhat egotistical. He constantly quarreled with Naruto, insulting him with names like "Narutonto" (a play on "Naruto" and "idiot"). According to Naruto, he was very easily swayed by Hinata; whenever she asked him to stop fighting Naruto, he would instantly change his attitude, revealing his love for her. Further evidence of this is his desire to be near her and his fondness for the tokens of affection she gave him—such as the doll he wore on his right arm at all times. He also showed jealousy toward Naruto for commanding Hinata's attention. While he appeared saddened by how he was treated, he also revealed a malicious side by swapping bodies with Naruto solely to gain public attention—something he deeply craved.

In "Kyubi Mode," he was a ruthless killer who slaughtered thousands and caused massive destruction. He also harbored hatred toward the "Normal Mode" persona for sealing him away within the other fragment of the Mind Stone; this was evident in his intent to kill Naruto and Hinata, whom he viewed as "special to Normal Mode."

In the anime, he is depicted as having less distinct personality traits, instead embodying Itachi's will to protect Sasuke and Konohagakure.

Mecha-Naruto was created by a scientist to serve as the ultimate weapon, modeled after Naruto due to his status as Kurama's jinchūriki. He possesses two modes: Normal Mode (programmed to learn and memorize information) and Kyubi Mode, which would unleash mass destruction upon the world. Unable to bear the carnage caused by Kyubi Mode—including the killing of the scientist—Normal Mode shattered his "Mind Stone" (which housed the minds of both modes). He ejected the portion containing Kyubi Mode and part of his memory before deactivating near the "Ninja Rock Coast" of Festival Island. Before the tournament, Naruto and Hinata traveled to Festival Island to deliver a package. Naruto decided to explore the island with Hinata, and it was then that they discovered the deactivated Mecha-Naruto.

When Hinata pointed out his resemblance to Naruto, Naruto took offense—claiming he was better-looking than the robot—and struck him on the back of the head, inadvertently activating him. After introducing himself, Mecha-Naruto began arguing with Naruto, only to be interrupted by Hinata; upon seeing her, Mecha-Naruto "fell in love" with her. While describing his capabilities, he realized he was missing part of his memory. He explained to the Konoha ninja that his Mind Stone was broken, causing the memory loss. Hinata revealed that the bonus prize for the World Ninja Tournament was the missing fragment of Mecha-Naruto's Mind Stone; consequently, the robot decided to join forces with Naruto and Hinata for the tournament to recover his lost memories.

After returning to Konoha, Mecha-Naruto witnessed the villagers' admiration for Naruto. Shortly thereafter, he began arguing with Naruto about how long the latter had taken, provoking Naruto's anger. The following day, the robot waited for Naruto and Hinata at the Leaf Village Gate. When Naruto arrives, the robot argues with him again, but Hinata shows up with two dolls—one for each of them: Naruto keeps the Mecha-Naruto doll, while the robot takes the Naruto doll. Hinata explains that she did this to help them become friends. Upon arriving at the tournament, Naruto's team wins the preliminaries and advances to the main event, where only two members per team can compete. Naruto decides to enter the main event alongside Mecha-Naruto; this upsets the robot, who is disappointed not to be by Hinata's side, prompting Naruto to head to Training Ground 7.

While in the village, the robot overhears villagers badmouthing him and shunning him. Saddened by this, he makes a decision: to become Naruto Uzumaki. He approaches Naruto and uses a "Mind Transfer Jutsu" on him, seizing control of Naruto's body; he takes his doll and leaves Naruto unconscious in the Mecha-Naruto body. He then returns to the village and convinces Hinata that "Mecha-Naruto" had to attend to something else, arranging for himself and Hinata to participate in the tournament's main event instead.

In the tournament final, Naruto—now in the Mecha-Naruto body—faces the impostor in Hinata's place, drawing boos from the crowd. After a grueling battle, Naruto demonstrates to the impostor that he has won the crowd's support despite his robotic form; moved by this, the robot returns Naruto's original body to him, though it is severely injured. An enraged Mecha-Naruto attacks Naruto, nearly defeating him, but Naruto rises again, successfully regaining the audience's support. After the battle—which Naruto won—he taught Mecha-Naruto that changing things required taking it one step at a time and never giving up on oneself.

Following the tournament, the Konoha 11 (minus Team Guy) gave Mecha-Naruto the other stone to help him regain his memory; however, this triggered the release of the Kyubi Mode, which incinerated the Hinata doll. As the construct began to destroy everything and kill people in its path, the Five Kages ordered its destruction at all costs. The Kyubi Mode returned to the island and confronted Naruto and Hinata, ultimately losing the fight. Naruto and Hinata entered Mecha-Naruto's mind using Ino's Ninjutsu to destroy the Kyubi Mode, but Mecha-Naruto warned them it was dangerous, as the entity was far more powerful within his mind—a fact proven when it emerged from the ground as Mecha-Kurama. Despite the odds, Naruto (in his Kurama-linked mode), Mecha-Naruto, and Hinata defeated the Kyubi Mode, but it then activated its self-destruct sequence.

When Ino's jutsu dissipated, Mecha-Naruto said goodbye to Hinata. Since she was reluctant to leave—and because Mecha-Naruto wanted to avoid a "sad farewell"—Naruto decided to have a shadow clone take Hinata away. Once Shikamaru left, leaving Naruto alone with the robot, the robot pleaded to know if he could be saved, but Naruto told him no. Mecha-Naruto was then engulfed in a powerful typhoon that pushed Naruto back. Believing he was alone, the robot reflected on his experiences—recalling arguments, the time he cheated by swapping minds with Naruto, and the lectures he had received—and realized he did not want to lose those memories. Naruto, who had not actually left the area, then pierced through the typhoon with his Rasengan, successfully saving the robot's Mind Stone. After the explosion, Mecha-Naruto woke up in a daze, remembering that he had blown up. He then realized he was inside the Mecha-Naruto doll Hinata had made, meaning he could return to Konoha with his friends.

In one of Orochimaru's hideouts, he and Kabuto were constructing something resembling a humanoid robot with the intention of capturing the Nine-Tails. However, when the robot was reanimated, it attacked Orochimaru, destroying the facility in the process.

The following afternoon, the robot is seen with Itachi Uchiha after the latter had gone to Konoha to destroy the village. During the ensuing destruction, pairs of ninja attempt to attack the stranger, discovering it to be a robot identical to Naruto and dubbing it "Mecha-Naruto." After a clash with the real Uzumaki, Mecha-Naruto vanishes, only to reappear and attack the Konoha ninja. After defeating the ninja guarding Naruto, the robot faces off against him. Orochimaru appears and traps Naruto using the Snake Mouth Bind before withdrawing from the battle; Mecha-Naruto introduces itself to Naruto as the robot sent to destroy him, but upon hearing Naruto declare his intention to save Sasuke, Mecha-Naruto switches sides and fights against Orochimaru.

After defeating Orochimaru, the Sannin activates a mechanical robot that destroys virtually the entire village; meanwhile, Mecha-Naruto merges with Naruto, enabling them to defeat the giant robot. Although Naruto believes they have won, Mecha-Naruto tells him otherwise, explaining that the only way to defeat the enemy is by releasing the Nine-Tails' chakra from within him—a process that means Mecha-Naruto cannot survive. Naruto attempts to stop him, but Mecha-Naruto has already unleashed his final jutsu.

In his mechanized form, Mecha-Naruto possesses most of Naruto and Kurama's abilities, but he also displays great speed and an arsenal of combat weapons—ranging from machine guns that emerge from his arms to a powerful hyper-beam fired from his eyes. Additionally, he is equipped with foot thrusters that allow him to hover or close in on enemies at high speed; furthermore, Mecha-Naruto can combine with Mecha-Kurama to form a massive mechanized fox.

The numbers on his ninja headband change according to his mood, forming a Japanese pun. The default number, 7610, signifies "Naruto."

When Mecha-Naruto transforms into Mecha-Naruto (Three-Tails Mode), the number on his headband changes from 7610 to 9999, indicating his Nine-Tails state.

When he wins a battle, the display on his headband changes to a "V" for victory.
